The 1st generation Haval H6 was launched was first introduced at the Shanghai Auto Show in 2011 and the vehicle has been Haval’s flagship ever since. The 2nd generation H6 was introduced in 2017 in China however this model did not make it to the South Africa shores. Needless to say, the brand would want to ensure that they greatly improve the 3rd generation and judging by its looks and features they have set out to do exactly that.
Following hot on the heels of the Haval Jolion, the all-new Haval H6 has a completely new contemporary look and luxurious cabin. It is no doubt very pleasing to look at and is sure to turn heads at traffic stops. The H6 uses Haval’s new L.E.M.O.N platform which allows the vehicle to have length at a lower weight.
Powering the new H6 is a turbocharged 2.0 litre 4-cylinder engine with 320Nm of torque between 1500 and 4000 rpm and produces 150Kw of power. It has Haval’s second-generation 7MT gearbox making for easier gear changes.
The H6 has an impressive cabin and they have spared no expense to make you feel like you’re driving a luxury vehicle. Keyless entry and push start combined with panoramic sunroof make the Haval H6 feel glamorous. The leather finishes also give it a premium touch.
